Blu-ray discs can store up to 50Gb of data (compared to 8.5Gb on a DVD) which allows for high definition playback resulting in amazing picture quality and crystal clear, multi-channel surround sound.

Blu-Ray discs are also more durable than existing discs, featuring a new 'hard coat' to protect the discs against marks and scratches.
